Family News Michael Crissy Lane Brady Brooke

Billman Family

Well hello there everyone. Here’s a warm heartfelt greeting going out to you from the Billman family. From this page we will try to keep everyone up to date on what is happening with the kiddos and with the family in general. Our little family of 5, wow I still can’t believe that we have 3 children, continues to be active with all the kids. From the different sporting events Lane is involved in, to Michael and his learnin’, to Crissy and the drillin’ and fillin’. Lane still comes up with some funny comments about things from time to time, although he seems to now like to explain how things work. Which one day he explained a weather picture he drew to his teacher at school and impressed her. We can’t wait to hear what Brooke and Brady will come up with. I am sure it will be a hoot. 1997 seems like such a long time ago sometimes, but at other times seems like last week. Boy life sure has gotten much more full since then.

We now have a new house. Can not wait to show you if I could ever get the dang image gallery to work!

The babies and Lane decided to sleep in today. They all slept until about 9:00am. Since we got home right at midnight from Clifton, Lane stayed up late. We didn’t want him to stay up, he just wouldn’t go to sleep. He asked me if I was tired, and I said yes, but I couldn’t go to sleep until he went to sleep. I had to cut the TV to get him to go to sleep. I think it was about 2:00am when I cut the TV off, and I think by 2:02am he was asleep. Not long after, I was too. Brady fell and hit his head again. This time he was trying to climb up on the TV stand. I saw him slip and watched his head bounce off of the stand. That boy is going to break us because of the ER visits. I can already feel it. After that, I got him in the high chair to eat. And that boy ate like a Billman. He ate some Cheerios, 4oz of baby food, then a vanilla waffer, then about 4oz more of some more baby food, then some graham cracker animals, about 7oz of milk, and about 3oz of juice, then some dried apple things, then some more Cheerios. Man his somach was full. After I picked him up and got him back to the living room, he let out a mighty burp. Then he laughed.

We went to Clifton to see Garrett and Sean play baseball. Farrett plays on the JV team and Sean on the varsity. The first is the JV, of course, and Garrett pitched. He did a good job in his effort. He pitched a complete gmae and the JV won 12-0. The game was called in the fifth inning on the ten run rule. Before the varsity game against Whitney, everyone was saying that the game would be another slaughter by the Cubs. But it did’t start out that way. They ended up winning 19-3, I think, and ten run ruled them, but that was only because Whitney’s pitching, in my opinion, was not very good. Sean had a hard night going 0-2 with 2 walks.

Brady had a bad day today. He fell down at the baby sitter’s and scratched his head. Then at the game he fell and hit his face on the concrete leaving a bruise. Then he was trying to get around me at the game, and when I moved my leg to block hem, I kneed him in the face where his bruise was. Then to top things off, he fell over backwards during the varsity game and busted his head open. Friday just wasn’t a good day for the little guy.

We are having our second tee ball game this afternoon at 6pm. The game is being played at the fields behind La Vega high school. Come on out an dsupport THE DRILLERS!
